I faced an intense childhood as an unaccompanied minor and left home at 15. Despite significant challenges, including struggling to enroll in school and dealing with abuse, PTSD, and addiction, I persevered to graduate high school and later earn a BA in business and an MBA in accounting with the goal of teaching. My career in higher education began as a Student Accounts Clerk at Iowa Valley Community College, where I further developed my passion for education. I then became a Program Developer in Continuing Education, creating courses that engaged the community.

My personal life included navigating the emotional rollercoaster of multiple miscarriages and the joy of finally becoming a mother to my son, Preston. Shortly after, I learned I was expecting another child, my sweet witten. Amid a department restructuring that led to the elimination of my position, I faced uncertainty about my career. After considering various options, I applied for the role of Financial Aid Administrator and, through God’s guidance and connections, successfully secured the position. this position was also soon restructured, leaving me feel demoted. however, i applied for an internship with alli worthington which led me to coaching. i know now that i am right where i need to be and god has a plan for each and every one of us to live out our calling in purpose and in grace.
